Elevator Pitch No. 3

1. The pitch:
2. Reflection
The single most repetitive piece of feedback I received from my Elevator Pitch No. 2 was a concern of where these parking garages would fit on campus. One peer recommended that they be built on top of already existing parking garages, just as an expansion. I loved that idea and thought it would be the most efficient and effective way of the University of Florida going about this issue to create a solution. Another student suggested I use less hand gestures, as he found them distracting to the pitch itself. Therefore, I tried to keep my hands to myself and show more expression through my tone of voice and face.

3. What did I change?
Based on the feedback, I changed where and how the parking garages would be built (explained further in #2 above). Aside from that, I kept my elevator pitch the some and just added or took away minor details to make it all flow better.

  1. Hey Nicole,
You hit the nail on the head with your pitch. I hate parking on campus. Your idea definitely aims to solve this problem and I think it's a great idea. My product also aims to help with the cluttered parking lots by letting people leave their cars at home. If you're interested on how I plan to do this check my blog out here: http://kevinleddysblog.blogspot.com/2016/03/elevator-pitch-3.html

  2. Hi Nicole!
I can really relate to the problem you are addressing. I have a car on campus and parking is always a hassle. My idea actually relates to yours as I'm creating an app to help with parking. I like how you outlined your business plan and showed real passion for it! Keep up the great work!

  3. Hi Nicole,

Being an online student, I do not have this same issue anymore. However, having taken classes at a University before I can totally relate. Parking seems to be an ever growing issue everywhere. The thought process behind the increased revenue for the university as well increased academic attendance is a great angle for this idea. It would really would benefit quite a few people in those 2 areas. Great job and good luck. You can view my post here: http://jww3.blogspot.com/2016/03/1-pitch.html.
