My interview strategy was to get a non-bias opinion from people. This would help me to really know if my idea is a good idea.
From the interviews I learned that students would be much
more motivated to attend class, events, meetings, etc. on campus if parking was
not such a hassle, as it is now. What surprised me the most is how much
students currently miss due to the lack of parking. Many miss their meetings at
night because walking on campus in the dark can be scary and there is no
parking for them to drive. As an outcome of these interviews I expect students
to voice this concern of theirs more to encourage UF to building more parking
areas.

ReplyDeleteI really think your idea to have more parking garages around the center of campus is absolutely necessary and would help thousands of UF students. So many of my friends who have cars and live off campus are always complaining about how inconvenient it is for them to find parking on campus, especially after being late to a class and having to rush to campus. Not only that, but safety should be one of the biggest priorities on this campus and I feel that the lack of convenient garages is risking the safety of students because students they have to do walk and ride their bikes at night when its not as safe. My only concern about your idea is that i'm not sure where our campus could fit any more parking structures with all the buildings and new renovations but if that gets taken care of I definitely support your idea.
